Information you provide

When you join the early-access list, we may collect your first name, email address, general invention category, anticipated timing for preparing a provisional patent application, and your consent to receive early-access and launch emails.

Website usage and analytics information

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors find and use InventorPilot.com and to evaluate interest in the service. Google Analytics may collect or receive information such as the pages you view, page titles and URLs, referral or traffic-source information, browser and device information, general geographic information derived from your IP address, and interactions with the site such as page views, scrolling, outbound-link clicks, file downloads, and form interactions.

Google Analytics may use cookies or similar technologies to distinguish visits and measure site usage. Google Analytics loads automatically when you visit InventorPilot.com unless it is blocked by your browser, privacy settings, or other privacy tools. We do not intentionally send your name, email address, confidential invention information, or the contents of early-access form fields to Google Analytics. Our Analytics configuration is intended to measure use of the website rather than the substance of information you submit through the form.

How we use information

We use early-access information to evaluate demand for InventorPilot, understand likely customer needs, communicate about early access and launch availability, and operate the validation website. We use aggregated and site-usage information to understand traffic sources, website performance, and how visitors interact with the site so that we can evaluate and improve the service and its presentation.

Google Analytics

Google processes information generated through Google Analytics as a technology provider. Google explains how it uses information from websites and apps that use its services at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services. Google Analytics is subject to Google’s applicable privacy, security, and data-use terms.

Cookies and your choices

You may limit or block analytics technologies through your browser settings, privacy tools, or browser extensions. Blocking analytics may reduce the accuracy of our website-usage statistics but should not prevent you from viewing the site or joining the early-access list.

Confidential invention information

Please do not submit confidential invention details through the early-access form. The current form is designed to collect only general information about the type of invention. The future paid drafting platform will use different controls and a fuller privacy policy for invention materials submitted through that service.

Service providers

Website hosting, form-processing, analytics, email, and other technology providers may process information as necessary to operate and secure the validation site and early-access list. Their processing is subject to their applicable agreements, privacy terms, and security practices.

Data retention

We retain early-access information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the early-access list, evaluate the validation project, communicate about launch availability, and satisfy applicable legal or operational requirements. You may unsubscribe from early-access emails at any time.
